As a Data Engineer at Tieto Tech Consulting, you will work with

Platform and infrastructure: Design and implement a scalable data platform and architecture, beyond off-the-shelf solutions, and collaborate with other roles as needed.

Data pipelines and usage: Develop and maintain data pipelines (daily, monthly or ad-hoc), ensure correct data intake, data governance compliance and availability of reporting and analysis tools.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have

• Minimum of two years' experience from similar roles
• Good programming skills, preferably in Python or SQL
• Experience with data integration and pipeline tools (eg Azure Data Factory, MS Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake or similar cloud/open-source technologies)
• Hands-on experience with data migration, including retrieval from internal and external systems, as well as development and monitoring of pipelines
• Relevant certifications, preferably within the Azure ecosystem, are desirable but not a requirement
• Fluent Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing

Microsoft Full Stack for software development (e.g. C#, .NET, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Blazor)

About software development in the Azure cloud environment

Integration technologies and Web Services, such as REST

From MS SQL databases

From Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks

Agile working methods

About container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
