Data Intelligence brings together Sopra Steria's cutting-edge expertise in data, analysis and artificial intelligence. The department covers the entire value chain from data platforms and integration, to insight, machine learning and operationalisation. We help customers make better decisions, create new services and build robust data infrastructure.

As a data architect, you design platforms, integration and management models that teams and customers can build on, with modern cloud and AI in the picture.

What do you want to work on?

• You define data and analysis architecture for customers in energy, the public sector, finance and health:
• Data platform, lakehouse and integration patterns in the cloud (Azure prioritized)
• Data governance, quality, metadata and lineage
• Architecture for analysis, machine learning and AI that are connected
• Guidance of engineers, analysts and the customer's IT in projects

Requirements

You think holistically, communicate clearly and enjoy setting direction without losing control of the details. You like to lift the team, build trust with the customer, and should feel confident in challenging and proposing better solutions.

We are looking for you too

The role suits you who have already designed and anchored data architecture in customer projects, and can take responsibility for quality and integrity from day one.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with data or integration architecture in customer projects
• Experience with a data platform, lakehouse or equivalent in the cloud (Azure preferred)
• Ability to define principles, governance models and architecture teams can follow
• Experience with technical dialogue and guidance of engineers and the customer's IT
• Experience from consultancy or equivalent customer dialogue and project deliveries
• Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with customers and teams
• Good knowledge of Norwegian (minimum B2), good knowledge of English and higher relevant education
• There is an advantage though
• You know Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Cognite Data Fusion and data governance / lineage
• You have experience with machine learning and AI architecture
• You have worked with customers in energy, the public sector, finance or health
