Consultant – Data Migration

Role Summary

Responsibilities – Migration and Technical Execution

• Execute migration operations according to schedule and established procedures.
• Use dedicated tools (SPMT, ShareGate, Migration Manager, PowerShell scripts).
• Prepare source and target environments (rights, paths, prerequisites).
• Participate in pre- and post-migration validation tests.

Responsibilities – Quality control & integrity

• Check the completeness of the migrated data (volume, tree structure, permissions).
• Identify and report detected anomalies.
• Propose simple corrective actions or escalate them to L3.

Responsibilities – Reporting & documentation

• Produce progress reports (migration log, success rate, errors).
• Document incidents, actions carried out and technical follow-ups.
• Update dashboards, procedures and checklists.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Mastery of Microsoft 365: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Knowledge of Windows File Servers (NTFS, shares).
• Migration tools: SPMT, ShareGate, Migration Manager.
• SQL concepts.
• PowerShell knowledge.
• Behavioral skills
• Rigor and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and document accurately.
• Team spirit.
• Organization.
• Bac+2 or Bac+3 in Computer Science / Systems and Networks / Cloud.
• Mastery of Microsoft 365: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams
• Good level in English.
