Role Summary

This position is responsible for operating CNC machining machines (computer numerical control machine), to machine small and medium-sized parts, preparing the respective programming according to production demands, aiming to ensure that the machine performs the operation properly in accordance with the required quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

How you will make an impact

• Prepare and program CNC machines, by checking operating conditions, adjusting measurements and other parameters, carrying out machining tests, meeting production demands.
• Carry out machining work on parts and components, positioning, centering and fixing them, according to the drawing, instructions, work plan and production orders.
• Control the quality of machined parts and components, through final visual inspection, completion of traceability cards, interpretation of production orders, projects, checking of drawings and finishing.
• Make production records and reports, checking measurements, identifying models, quantities of parts, using measuring instruments, visual inspections and checklists, as well as preparing and packaging parts according to specifications.
• Meet production demands by operating load handling tools, such as overhead cranes and pallet trucks, complying with Health, Occupational Safety, Environment and Integrity procedures
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the machine, through inspections during its operation and/or activating Maintenance.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Complete high school
• Desirable Technical training in Electrical, Mechanical or related areas (completed or studying).
• Knowledge and application of Health, Occupational Safety and Integrity Policies and Standards. Quality Tools Training.
• Knowledge of CNC lathes and mills and Computerized Machining Centers will be an advantage.
