Civil Engineering Technician – Construction Supervision | Lisbon

Role Summary

As part of strengthening our team, we are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician to join a project expected to last 24 months.

Training and experience

Higher education in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Inspection in different areas, focusing on Civil Engineering;
• Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the execution project, procedures and approved construction methods;
• Organize and ensure permanent monitoring of work, provisional and definitive;
• Control the implementation of the work and technical aspects along the work fronts;
• Maintain an up-to-date record of the contractor's activities, including:
• labor;
• equipment;
• materials used;
• Support the Director of Inspection in terms of planning and cost control, particularly in measurements;
• Prepare and review technical documentation (reports, procedures and management plans);
• Provide technical support in Civil Engineering matters;

Participate in meetings with various interested parties.

Requirements

Technical skills

• Solid knowledge of technical standards and sector regulations;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel);
• Knowledge of construction management software (MS Project, AutoCAD);

Proficiency in English.
