Capex and Special Projects Purchasing Leader at Veolia Environnement SA in Bogota, Colombia.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the purchasing strategy for CAPEX categories and special projects at the corporate level.
  • Perform spending analysis (Spend Analysis), categorization of goods and services and definition of supply strategies by purchasing family.
  • Design and implement strategic purchasing plans with a short, medium and long-term planning horizon.
  • Execute bidding processes, RFI, RFP and strategic negotiations with national and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with high economic impact, guaranteeing compliance with commercial and legal conditions.
  • Implement corporate framework agreements that generate efficiencies and sustainable savings for the organization.
  • Lead the comprehensive management of suppliers under SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) models.
  • Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
  • Carry out market benchmarking to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Define, monitor and report management indicators related to savings, supply, contractual coverage and supplier performance.
  • Coordinate actions with technical, operational, financial and legal areas to guarantee compliance with corporate objectives.
  • Lead strategic supplier reviews and continuous improvement plans.
  • Promote the incorporation of innovative solutions and differentiating technologies to strengthen the competitiveness of the business.

🎓 Training

  • Professional in Civil Engineering.
  • Specialization or MBA in Supply Chain, Project Management, Finance or related areas is desirable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years leading strategic purchasing processes.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts with high economic impact.
  • Management of CAPEX categories and technical purchases.
  • Management of multiple suppliers in complex corporate structures.
  • Experience in corporate supply models and multi-site management.
  • Administration of budgets exceeding $100,000 million COP.
