Auditor QSE Flanders

Role Summary

In this role you are responsible for carrying out audits on energy and environmental management systems at customers of SGS Belgium NV. You evaluate the conformity of these systems to the relevant standards, including ISO 50001 and ISO 14001, and accurately report your findings. You work in accordance with the applicable procedures and guidelines, with an eye for quality, safety and customer focus.

In addition to auditing, you take on a coordinating role in the certification process, where you coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders. You provide expert support to companies that want to improve or expand their systems, and contribute to the further development of SGS' services in the field of energy and environmental management. You help develop new audit requirements, implement improvements and identify opportunities to strengthen our position in the market.

This position requires solid technical and organizational knowledge, an analytical mind, and a high degree of independence. You will end up in a professional international working environment where quality, expertise and integrity are central.

Requirements

• We see our ideal colleague as follows
• Master's or bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in a production environment, of which 2 years in energy management, or a technical training of at least 40 hours.
• Knowledge of ISO 50001 and/or ISO 14001.
• Environmental coordinator certificate and/or experience with greenhouse gas management is an asset.
• Strong communication skills; fluently bilingual Dutch/English, French is a plus.
• Independent, accurate and organizationally strong.
• In possession of a valid driver's license.
