We are looking for our future Analyst-Programmer – Cobol/IDMS to join our teams.

Responsibilities

Completion of requests for development, evolution and maintenance of computer systems developed with Centrale technology (Cobol/IDMS).

For the activities described, the service provider will have to create a new processing unit or modify an existing processing unit. The corresponding deliverables, inspired by the Macroscope methodology or agile mode, will be created or modified. For an existing processing unit, not all deliverables need to be modified, because it depends on the nature (quantity and complexity of the changes) of the intervention.

The activities to be carried out include all or part of the following elements, without being exhaustive:

Maintenance and evolution of applications developed on the central Cobol platform.

Requirements

In this regard, they must

• Perform the needs analysis
• Perform the functional analysis and produce or update the necessary documentation
• Carry out technical implementation (programming)
• Perform unit and functional tests
• If necessary, provide training to the application pilot
• Provide support for putting products into production
• Architectural works
• The senior programmer analyst collaborates on architectural work, if necessary:
• Write preliminary analysis deliverables
• Collaborate in the drafting of functional architecture deliverables
• Profile sought
• Hold an attestation of college studies (AEC), a diploma of college studies (DEC), a university certificate or a minimum undergraduate university diploma in computer science or an equivalent discipline.
• Have an excellent command of the French language, both oral and written.
• Must have experience as a programmer analyst in the field of maintenance, evolution and development of systems on a central platform, including necessarily:
• Using Cobol Panvalet
• IDMS, JCL, TSO and SAS data bank
• At least eight (8) years of experience in information technology,
• including five (5) years as a programmer analyst in the field of maintenance, evolution and development of systems on a central platform.
• Have carried out and completed, over the last five (5) years, one (1) mandate totaling more than 1,000 person-days on the central platform, in organizations similar to that of the client.
