We are looking for a Business Transformation Analyst to join our Business Transformation – Financial Services team in North America. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, document and optimize finance and financial services processes. This role will help identify, design and implement policies, processes and tools that impact both revenue and operational efficiencies, enabling Lightspeed to balance growth and profitability. This role ensures Lightspeed can grow efficiently while providing a seamless experience for internal teams and the merchants we serve.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and audit: Review existing policies, workflows, tools and processes to identify inefficiencies and friction points.
- Document and standardize: Create clear documentation as well as standardized processes and procedures within teams to improve harmonization and reduce redundancies.
- Drive improvements: Identify and recommend scalable solutions, and support their implementation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Measure and report results: Track key indicators in business intelligence tools before and after process changes to quantify the impact of improvements and surface data-driven insights to identify the next improvement opportunity.
- Facilitate change management: Collaborate closely with field teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes and facilitate change management, including contributing to training documentation and participating in training sessions as required.

- Contribute, within the extended team, to the achievement of organizational objectives, even when this involves accomplishing tasks that are not strictly within your role.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within Financial Services and communicate them to the Business Transformation team and management.
Requirements
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with multiple teams or departments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document processes and influence stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and attention to process accuracy and integrity.
- Demonstrate autonomy, curiosity and a strong interest in technology and process improvement.
