We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a busy and supportive team in North Kent. This role covers a large geographical area including Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley, and Swale, providing a dynamic and varied community caseload.
You will be working with adult patients across a range of settings including their own homes, nursing homes, community inpatient rehabilitation wards, outpatient clinics, and virtual platforms where appropriate. This opportunity is ideal for a Band 6 or Band 7 therapist who is confident managing a complex caseload and enjoys working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team. While remote working may be considered, there is a preference for candidates who can initially provide face-to-face support.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage adults with swallowing (dysphagia) and communication difficulties.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions across a variety of community settings.
- Manage a diverse caseload including patients with dementia, stroke, progressive neurological conditions, and FND.
