We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Retail Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for generating revenue through telephone and email correspondence, as well as screen sharing presentations to potential clients. Your end goal is to create solutions for retailers looking to adopt Lightspeed for their business. We are looking for an energetic sales professional with experience selling technology solutions who will not shy away from a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. As an ambitious and successful individual, you will have access to significant earning potential with uncapped commission!

  • Experience with SaaS
  • Retail sales experience
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with databases, point of sale or ERP systems

Responsibilities

What you will be responsible for

  • Follow up and manage qualified leads by telephone and email within the stipulated deadlines
  • Work in a team environment to grow the business collaboratively
  • Lead individual screen sharing presentations and demonstrations as needed
  • Work on price negotiations
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Work with sales development representatives to coordinate appointments and optimize the schedule
  • Effectively direct prospects within a defined sales process
  • Track lead progress to close in Salesforce.com http://Salesforce.com
  • Assume other tasks and responsibilities defined by management

What you will bring to the team

  • Sales experience, preferably in a solution sales or technology environment
  • Strong presentation and telephone contact skills
  • Experience and solid understanding of quoting, invoicing and purchasing
  • Excellent command of English and French, written and oral
  • Passion for people and technology
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a focused environment
  • Flexible schedule
