Role Summary

Workplace: Antofagasta Region, with field activities in the Plant, Mine and Salar de Ascotán areas.

Supervise the daily execution of environmental monitoring activities.

Coordinate the logistics, programming and distribution of tasks of the work team.

Verify compliance with technical, environmental and safety procedures.

Control the correct execution of sampling, measurements and field inspections.

Ensure the availability and validity of equipment calibrations and verifications.

Lead coordination meetings and follow-up of activities.

Manage the implementation of corrective actions in the event of operational deviations.

Maintain permanent communication with contract administration and operational personnel.

Ensure compliance with established monitoring programs, deadlines and quality standards.

Promote a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • We are seeking to incorporate Environmental Monitoring Supervisor for the execution of environmental monitoring activities.
  • Chemical, Environmental Execution Engineer or related career.
  • Minimum experience of 4 years in programming, logistics and coordination of work groups in environmental monitoring.
  • Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in environmental sampling techniques.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams).
  • Knowledge of environmental, safety and occupational health procedures.
  • Experience in coordination of field activities and operational management.
  • Class B driver's license with at least 3 years' validity.
  • Leadership, organization and coordination of work teams.
  • Proactive, responsible, analytical, decisive and goal-oriented person.
