Werkstudent Technical Sales (m/w/d)

Role Summary

As a working student (m/f/d), you support our team at the interface between sales, engineering and IT. You will be actively involved in the technical design of agitator seals as well as in quotation and order processing, gaining insights into the entire process from customer requirements to technical implementation.

A particular focus is on the further development and optimization of our digital tools, databases and processes. You can contribute your own ideas, improve existing applications and develop new solutions that make daily work in sales and engineering more efficient. In addition, you support technical projects, test bench tests and the creation of technical documentation.

The position offers you the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge directly in practice, to take responsibility and to actively participate in the further development of innovative products and processes.

What you should bring

• Ongoing studies in the field of industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration or a comparable course of study
• Interest in technical, commercial and digital topics
• Basic understanding of business relationships as well as technical products and processes
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
• Basic knowledge of VBA, SQL, Microsoft Access and SAP is an advantage
• Interested in working with data, databases and digital applications
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Ability to work in a team, initiative and analytical thinking skills

Responsibilities

Your tasks include in particular

• Supporting the internal sales team with technical and commercial issues in the area of agitator seals
• Participation in the technical design of sealing systems and preparation of offers and order documents
• Collaboration on technical projects, product developments and test bench tests
• Support in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Participation in the further development of internal tools based on Microsoft Excel, Access and SAP
• Maintenance, evaluation and preparation of technical and commercial data
• Collaboration with national and international teams
• Support initiatives for continuous improvement and digitalization of processes
