Warehouse Assistant/Picker - PART-TIME

Role Summary

Carry out picking (order assembly) and packaging of orders ensuring the expected level of service (place order in a timely manner, aligned with the correct packaging process and without modifying orders).

Receive and stock merchandise in compliance with the company's safety, hygiene and order standards. Record everything in the inventory system in a timely manner.

Ensure and control that the merchandise is as requested in the purchase orders.

Ensure and control expiration dates and the quality of the merchandise received (cold chain, breakages, etc.).

Stock and label products on racks in an orderly manner. Suggest changes in the order of merchandise that improve picking productivity.

Maintain a neat and clean work area.

Identify and communicate potential opportunities to reduce costs and keep them below the target.

Be able to perform daily work with limited supervision.

Develop and maintain knowledge of the product portfolio offered and the demand for each of them.

Participate in the inventory control process.

Participate in the process of collecting and delivering orders to riders.

Requirements

• Experience as a warehouse assistant (Desirable).
• Availability to work rotating schedules, within the time slot from 7am to 11pm.
• Availability to work 6 days a week, with 1 rotating day off.
• Availability to work 4 hours per day.
• Live close to the Altamira area.
• Teamwork.
