What you can do

As a member of the rotor production department at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will actively contribute as a turbine assembly fitter to support the department in production and demonstrate your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Plastering and metalworking of turbine rotors
• Assembling and dismantling gas and steam turbine blades
• Caulking radial sealing strips on gas and steam turbines
• Assembling and dismantling auxiliary shafts and turbine attachments
• Shrink-fitting of gears and pinions on gas and steam turbines
• Welding of gas and steam turbine end pieces

What you should bring (basic qualifications)

• Completed vocational training in the mechanical field, ideally in metal-cutting production, e.g. polymechanic specializing in assembly
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and documents
• Good technical understanding and manual skills
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German; as well as a good basic knowledge of English
• Basic PC knowledge
