Travel Clerk - Hawaii (FT)

Role Summary

Responsible for assisting travel agencies and customers with travel reservations and other accommodations including air, hotel, car, cruise, tours and meals. Issues documents, reconciles cash and charge sales, and files related documentation.

Is knowledgeable of specific geographic areas and locations in order to best assist customers in planning their itineraries.

Provides service and support to customers in need of alternative means of transportation during periodic delays and cancellations of their scheduled flights

Provides assistance to customers via phone reservations lines as well as in-person

Requirements

• High School diploma and travel industry school completion a plus.
• Two (2) years of experience with the Sabre Travel Reservation system preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
• Must know Excel
• Must be able to multi-task.
