Role Summary
The Digital Factory Store designs and develops all digital assets (back office, web and mobile applications) for our in-store employees. Our integrated teams of Technology, Design and Product Management experts are constantly looking for digital solutions to improve and rethink the experience of our employees.
Integrated into the DF Magasins Back teams, the consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to guarantee the quality of web and mobile applications. He/she will work closely with development teams to identify relevant test cases, develop automation scripts and execute tests efficiently.
Responsibilities
Your main missions
- Design, develop and maintain automated web tests with Playwright (TypeScript) and Selenium (Java).
- Automate API and functional tests with Karate DSL by integrating BDD scenarios.
- Write scenarios in Gherkin based on User Stories and business requirements.
- Test and validate REST APIs with tools like Postman.
- Automate mobile testing with Appium on Android and iOS environments.
- Run cross-browser and multi-device tests via BrowserStack.
- Carry out exploratory and functional manual tests in addition to automation.
- Define and manage a testing strategy aligned with quality and product issues.
- Manage test campaigns, traceability and reporting with Jira XRAY.
- Establish and maintain quality-oriented CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.
- Manage versioning and continuous integration via GitLab.
- Build and maintain reliable datasets to ensure the robustness of automated scenarios.
- Apply software quality assurance principles (ISTQB) in a pragmatic approach.
Requirements
- Graduated with a Bac+5 in computer science
- Experience: 3 to 6 years in Full Stack QA Automation Test
- Experience in the retail or mass distribution sector would be a plus.
Mastery of agile methods, particularly SCRUM
- Excellent written and oral communication: Good written and oral communication in French for fluid interactions with the profession.
- Spirit of analysis and continuous improvement: Ability to evaluate the code and its impacts, as well as to question existing solutions to improve them.
- Ability to take a step back: Ability to evaluate problems objectively and to propose solutions for improvement.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals
