Role Summary

Join Schneider Electric as a Team Technical Coordinator (F/M), where you will drive quality excellence and lead a team committed to delivering safe and reliable products. Join the Smart ECOFIT™ industrial site in Fontanil-Cornillon, a world reference for Schneider Electric in terms of modernization and renovation of medium voltage and low voltage equipment.

We offer our customers the most appropriate solution by modernizing the parts of the installation that need it, for example for specific markets (nuclear, marine, etc.).

Our entity has 200 employees for a turnover of around 45 million per year and hosts a production factory as well as support and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Operational management

  • Lead the team of reception quality inspectors
  • Set priorities, track load and balance resources
  • Organize and supervise the daily activities of the IQR department
  • Develop skills, ensure the versatility and performance of controllers
  • Guarantee compliance with control priorities linked to production, projects and the Supply Chain
  • Ensure the rapid provision of compliant components
  • Guarantee the proper application of sorting, exemption and/or blocking rules within the appropriate time limits
  • Request transfers to appropriate storage areas
  • Be a backup to the technical referent

Performance and continuous improvement

  • Monitor key indicators (number of validated controls, number of NCs, processing times, backlog, etc.)
  • Ensure control of parts with available means (at least 50% of the time)
  • Propose improvements and manage Lean projects (5S, standards, flows)
  • Ensure load monitoring

What are the key skills we are looking for?

Technical know-how

  • Realize, accomplish, implement a well-defined operating mode and standard procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of the manufacturing processes within its scope.
  • Master the instructions at the post.
  • Reading instructions, plans and diagrams.
  • Mastery of IT tools and integrated management software packages
  • Knowledge of the Schneider Production System.
  • Technical knowledge of products in your sector (but also of other sectors, even if less in-depth).

Professional knowledge required

  • BTS or professional baccalaureate with significant experience in an industrial/logistics environment.

For this position based in France the annual salary range is EUR 29,840 - EUR 44,760. This range includes the base salary as well as the target annual bonus. This salary range applies to candidates working full-time and based in France. It is determined with reference to positions comparable in terms of responsibility and level. Individual remuneration is positioned within the range based on several factors such as knowledge, job-related skills, experience, potential as well as relevant training or diplomas.
