Role Summary

Insurance Group | Sydney | Work from Home 2 Days

Our client is an insurer with a growing presence. It's a genuinely exciting time to join — the team is expanding, and culture is front and centre of how they operate: close-knit, supportive, and genuinely invested in developing their people, not just their output.

This role is a great fit whether you're stepping up from an admin, reception, concierge or coordinator background, or you're already working as a Team Assistant and ready for your next challenge. You'll join a team that backs you with training and mentoring, and gives you real room to grow as the local business scales.

You'll provide executive and administrative support to senior leaders as part of a growing local team — a role that goes well beyond diary and calendar management, spanning travel, events, stakeholder communication and project coordination.

Manage diaries, meetings and inboxes for senior leaders, keeping schedules and priorities on track

Prepare agendas, presentations, reports and other meeting materials, and keep digital files and records up to date

Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries and expense processing

Plan and support team meetings, workshops, offsites and client events

Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders inside and outside the business, handling correspondence, minutes and information flow

Support onboarding, admin processes and project coordination — tracking actions, chasing follow-ups and preparing reports or dashboards as needed

The Person

A couple of years' experience in admin, coordination, reception or assistant work

Strong organisational, time-management and attention-to-detail skills

Confident written and verbal communication, with a polished, customer-focused approach

Comfortable across Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel)

Good judgement handling sensitive or confidential information

A proactive, can-do attitude and genuine hunger to learn and progress

Desirable, not essential

Some background supporting senior leaders or executives

Time spent in financial services, insurance or professional services

A taste of project coordination or event management

A relevant business or administration qualification

Why Join

  • this role stretches well beyond reception or front-of-house admin into executive support, projects, events and stakeholder work

Get in early

  • join a growing team with genuine room to make your mark

A team that's got your back

  • genuine investment in training, mentoring and long-term career growth

Flexibility built in

  • hybrid working with 2 days from home each week
