Role Summary

YOU...

• check whether vehicle variants in customer projects comply with the applicable guidelines, norms and standards in the area of product safety
• create evidence of compliance with product safety obligations
• Analyzes and assesses security-relevant requirements and activities from the offer phase
• identify applicable laws, norms, guidelines and standards
• advises on projects and defines security goals
• create safety case documentation for projects
• coordinate safety-related verification and validation (V&V) activities

carry out system safety-related reviews, audits and assessments (internal and external).

• monitors the implementation and compliance with safety-related requirements
• further develop internal company security-related processes, templates and checklists
• Finally, assess compliance with product safety obligations and report to the product safety officer

Requirements

• YOU...
• You have completed a technical degree (TU/FH) or equivalent training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or automotive engineering
• You have sound professional experience in system safety, preferably in the automotive industry
• have in-depth knowledge of safety standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262)
• has methodological expertise (hazard and risk analyses, FMEA, FTA)
• have a high level of understanding of requirements management
• are familiar with IBM Doors and APIS Pro
• have a good understanding of product development processes
• has systematic knowledge of project planning and project management
