We are looking for a Solution Field Application Engineer for our Arrow Global Components sales office in Austria

Responsibilities

• Technical link between customers, our partner companies and our own sales department
• Close collaboration with the customer's development department, the local field sales team and Arrow's internal and external resources.
• Establishing and expanding sustainable relationships in our customers' development departments at all levels from CTO to R&D engineer
• Identification of new development projects for our customers and support from the product idea to the start of series production
• Steering the technical direction and priorities in customer projects based on the ARROW strategy, as well as our supplier portfolio and the market situation.
• Development of optimal technical-commercial system solutions for our customers
• Responsibility for the further development of our business potential through targeted project work with defined, strategic customers
• Technical advice and on-site support for our customers in the design and selection of system components (focus on semiconductors for industrial applications such as embedded and HMI systems including software elements)
• Advisory support function of our sales field service in technical issues
• Preparation and implementation of training courses, technical meetings with customers and suppliers and, if necessary, internal training for the local field sales team

Requirements

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering or comparable training with at least 5 years of professional experience
• Experience as a technical contact, developer experience in the area of electronics/hardware/firmware development is an advantage
• Experience in selecting and using microprocessors, processors and FPGAs for industrial electronics is desirable
• Negotiation skills as well as strong communication and persuasion skills
• Understanding of the customer's system architecture
• Strong teamwork skills with high self-motivation
• Strong sales and customer orientation with a feel for potential and innovation
• Experience in using AI based systems to increase efficiency in developing solutions and analyzing data
• Willingness to travel in (Austria)
• Fluent in German and English
