  • About the internship

As part of the continuous improvement of our industrial processes, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineering intern to participate in the standardization and optimization of the MGV engine manufacturing process. You will work closely with the production teams and support services to document best practices and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

During this internship, you will be required to

  • Observe and analyze the different stages of the MGV engine manufacturing process in the field.
  • Collect the information necessary for writing manufacturing instructions (taking photos, videos and technical reports).
  • Understand the manufacturing processes and transcribe them in the form of instruction sheets using a standardized format.
  • Collaborate with production teams and support services to validate the documents written.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workstations, manufacturing processes, tools and organization.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process by proposing solutions aimed at improving the quality, safety and efficiency of operations.

Profile sought

  • Student in DUT, BUT or equivalent training in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good analysis and synthesis skills.
  • Rigor, autonomy and sense of organization.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • An initial knowledge of industrial processes or continuous improvement is an asset.

  • BUT / DUT Mechanical Engineering (Bac +2 to Bac +3)

Internship - MGV Manufacturing Process Standardization

About the Internship

As part of our continuous improvement initiatives, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the standardization and optimization of the MGV motor manufacturing process. You will work closely with production teams and support functions to document best practices and identify opportunities for process improvement.

During this internship, you will

  • Observe and analyze the different stages of the MGV motor manufacturing process on the shop floor.
  • Collect the information required to create manufacturing work instructions, including photos, videos, and technical measurements.
  • Understand manufacturing processes and translate them into standardized work instruction documents.
  • Collaborate with production teams and support departments to review and validate the documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workstations, manufacturing processes, tooling, and overall organization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing solutions to enhance quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a DUT, BUT, or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous exposure to industrial manufacturing processes or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.

Education

  • BUT / DUT in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's level, equivalent to Bac +2 to Bac +3)
