Business Analyst Internship – Reporting & Controlling

The intern will be placed in a young and dynamic work team within the Retail, Fashion & Industry Division with training activities aimed at increasing his skills and making him ready for project activities with our customers.

The training will focus both on the operational methods of team work and on the various technology stacks in use by our main customers.

You will become part of a team that supports analysis and cost control activities through the collection, processing and valorisation of data. During your internship you will have the opportunity to develop skills in quantitative analysis, management reporting and Business Intelligence tools.

You are the ideal candidate if

You are a graduate or recent graduate in Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or similar disciplines.

You have a strong predisposition for numerical analysis and data interpretation.

You stand out for precision, attention to detail and organizational ability.

You have good interpersonal skills and like working in a team.

You are motivated to learn new analysis tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

In particular you will take care of

• Collect, verify and consolidate data from different company sources.
• Analyze data using Microsoft Excel and support the production of periodic reports.
• Create and update dashboards and reports through Power BI.
• Monitor and update KPIs related to Warranty costs.
• Support the team in preparing quantitative analyzes and presentations for management.
• Collaborate on forecasting and budget planning activities under the supervision of senior figures.
• Interface with project representatives and the client for the collection and validation of the information necessary for reporting activities.

Requirements

We are looking for a curious, precise and analysis-oriented person, interested in developing skills in the fields of data control, reporting and Business Intelligence.

YOUR SKILLS

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, advanced functions, pivot tables and data search tools).
• Basic knowledge of Power BI and interest in Data Visualization and Business Intelligence topics.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to organize one's work respecting deadlines and priorities.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python) and interest in exploring its use in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
