About the position

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to participate in the design, development and evolution of scalable and highly available enterprise applications.

The role will have a strong focus on backend architecture, microservices and distributed systems, working on cloud environments and modern platforms aimed at performance, resilience and maintainability.

The person will collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and architecture teams, actively participating in technical decisions and good engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain backend services and scalable APIs using Java and Spring Boot technologies.
Participate in architectural definitions and technical design of business applications.
Build and optimize architectures based on microservices and distributed systems.
Develop secure, resilient and highly available applications.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and business teams.
Conduct code reviews and promote good development practices.
Analyze and solve complex problems in production.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to performance, security and scalability.
Work on cloud-native environments and containerized applications.

Requirements

+5 years of experience in backend development with Java.
Solid experience working with: Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot, Security and Data
Experience developing REST APIs and architectures based on microservices.
Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Solid knowledge of JPA/Hibernate.
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of concurrency and multithreading.
Experience working with containers and orchestration: Docker / Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
