Specialist in Data Operations and Operational Resilience (100% Remote)

Role Summary

WHAT WILL YOU DO AT DEVOTEAM?

You will support the Technical Lead in the coordination and monitoring of initiatives related to Data Operations, observability and operational resilience, acting as a link between the different teams involved.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

• Coordinate Data Operational Resilience initiatives, from design and implementation to monitoring testing and platform audits.
• Coordinate with the Operations Center the observability of platforms, products and data assets.
• Monitor work plans, dependencies, risks, actions and commitments between Data, Architecture, Security and Operations teams.
• Collaborate in the definition of change management procedures, deployments, incidents, continuity and recovery.
• Participate in the identification of critical assets and the definition of metrics and indicators of availability, traceability and operational health.
• Coordinate suppliers, meetings and technical committees, tracking deliverables, validations and action plans.
• Participate in the Early Adopters program with BMC Software for a new DataOps and observability solution on Data Assets, coordinating use cases, architecture, security and implementation.

Requirements

• WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
• You reside in Spain and have a fluent level of Spanish.
• More than 5 years of experience in Big Data, Data Platform, DataOps, IT Operations, Data Governance or operational management of data platforms environments.
• Experience in technical or operational coordination roles, managing transversal initiatives and multidisciplinary teams without the need for direct hierarchical responsibility.
• Knowledge of Big Data and DataOps platforms, including the data life cycle, deployments, automation, monitoring and production operation.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, including Data Assets, data products, ownership, catalog, lineage, data quality and security.
• Knowledge of observability and operational resilience, including service continuity, asset criticality, contingencies, recovery and change management.
• Experience coordinating initiatives with Architecture, Security, Data Platform, DataOps, Data Governance and Operations teams, managing dependencies, risks and blockages.
• Experience in supplier management and technological pilots, coordinating deliverables, requirements, validations and implementation of solutions.
• Organization, analysis and communication skills with technical and management profiles.
• Technical English level (minimum B2) to work with suppliers and technical documentation.

It will be a plus if you also have:

Fluent English level (C1 or C2).

• 100% remote work model from Spain, with preference for people residing in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao or Zaragoza.
