Role Summary

At BARFER’S we develop and produce premium dog food and cat food according to the BARF principle (biologically species-appropriate raw feeding).

Over 280 products are created in our own Berlin factory, which we sell via our online shop as well as eight branches in Berlin, Potsdam and Hamburg as well as selected B2B sales partners.

We are revolutionizing the pet food industry - our mission is to ensure that every dog and cat receives a species-appropriate diet!

Responsibilities

You bring creativity, drive and a good feel for content; we will teach you the craft and the context. You get a lot of space to develop yourself further. Experience is a plus - with the right track record, the position is also possible with 80%

• You independently produce content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook - from shooting to editing (e.g. CapCut, Canva) to the finished post
• You plan and maintain our editorial plan and schedule publication on all channels
• You develop new content ideas and storyline concepts and continually optimize based on performance
• You take on community management: comments, news, honest dialogue at eye level
• You actively build and maintain our online community
• You regularly visit our stores in Berlin and Hamburg to film on location
• You work with creators and influencers and bring fresh formats to the team
• You research current social media trends and test new formats before everyone else discovers them

Requirements

• Completed training or studies
• Initial experience in content creation for social media – your own channel, internships or reference projects count just as much as classic positions
• You feel at home in front of and behind the camera and prefer to produce yourself rather than just briefing
• Feel for trends, hooks and storytelling on TikTok and Instagram
• Advantage: You are a dog or cat owner yourself and know what you are talking about
• Lives in Berlin
• Driving license is an advantage (pool car for store visits) but not a must
• Curiosity, initiative and desire to continually develop yourself
