Role Summary
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator - Raw Materials - 1st shift - RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.
Core hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm
- Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
- Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
- Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
- Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
- Assist the department in loading/unloading of truck, scanning and tagging as needed.
- Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
- Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
- Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Other tasks as assigned
Responsibilities
The Shipping Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving order and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on hand counts in the warehouse.
Requirements
Required (Basic) Qualifications
- One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience using SAP.
- Previous experience with fork lifts.
- Basic working knowledge and experience with computers

Position Criteria
- Ability to follow procedures and written instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and bend frequently.
