Role Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Alcoa Wagerup Refinery, Western Australia. Your role will include performing scheduled maintenance and repair work on overhead cranes and you will also get to challenge yourself on breakdowns where your troubleshooting skills and technical skills will really come into play.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs, installation, testing and certification of electric overhead cranes and hoists
  • Service inspection contracts
  • Refurbishment and modernisation projects
  • Installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes and hoists
  • Trouble - shooting equipment breakdowns
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
  • Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

Requirements

About you

  • Electrical Trade qualification
  • A team player with a passion for excellence
  • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in engaging with customers about their business and your findings
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Experience with overhead cranes and hoists is preferred, however, full product training will be provided
  • Ability to work at heights is a must

Current and valid driver’s licence.
