Service Technician at Konecranes in Napoli, Italy.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for carrying out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities on our customers' systems to guarantee the best functionality and protection of the conditions of use and the original efficiency levels, in compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs of electric overhead cranes, hoists, lifting equipment and accessories in general, at customer sites, using the van and vehicles provided;
  • Carry out fault searches for electrical, mechanical and electronic problems and establish the activities necessary for any repairs;
  • Illustrate the results of the intervention to the customer by informing him on the conditions of the system, on preventive and corrective repairs and on discretionary repairs or modernizations;
  • Report any critical issues or risks to safety and quality and suggest new improvement projects on systems and machinery;
  • Draw up and update the documentation relating to the activities carried out and transmit it in a timely manner and in accordance with the established guidelines;
  • Carry out regular maintenance and inventory of the equipment, vehicles and goods made available by the company.

Requirements

SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED

  • Secondary school diploma, preferably with the title of electromechanical expert;
  • Interest and experience in the electromechanical maintenance of lifting equipment (overhead cranes, cranes, hoists) and in the related technology, and in general in science and technological applications;
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical diagrams, parts and components;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Italian language and reasonable knowledge of the English language;
  • Organizational ability, autonomy, problem solving, good physical shape and predisposition to work at heights;
  • Customer focus and team spirit;
  • Availability for overtime and availability;
  • Availability to travel frequently in Italy
  • Possession of a B driving license: with the assigned company vehicle, you will travel daily to our customers in the area;
  • Coming from the world of lifting will be considered a plus, as will being in possession of valid certificates for Work at Height, PPE 3rd category, and Forklifts, in accordance with the laws in force;
  • Residence in Campania, preferably in the Naples hinterland area.
