Have you been at home in Microsoft System Engineering for several years and know Microsoft Entra ID not only from administration, but also from demanding customer environments?

For an established Swiss IT service company, I am looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer who combines classic Microsoft infrastructure with modern Microsoft 365 and cloud topics.

Your experience with Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and hybrid Microsoft environments is particularly in demand.

What you're working on

In this role, you are not simply responsible for running a single environment. You work with different customers, design solutions, implement projects technically and further develop existing Microsoft infrastructures.

The following are particularly important

• Several years of experience as a system engineer, ideally at an IT service company or managed service provider
• Very good practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
• Solid experience with Microsoft 365
• Very good knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server
• Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint and/or Intune
• Understanding of hybrid Microsoft infrastructures and the interaction of on-premises and cloud
• Experience in the conception and implementation of sophisticated IT infrastructures
• Enjoy designing technical solutions and not just operating them
• Security in direct communication with customers
• Independent and structured way of working
• Very good knowledge of German and good English

Responsibilities

Among other things, you will deal with

• Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Microsoft 365, particularly Exchange Online, SharePoint and Intune
• Windows Server and hybrid Microsoft infrastructures
• Conception and implementation of infrastructure and cloud projects
• IT security in the Microsoft environment
• Technical advice to customers
• Analysis and sustainable solution of more complex problems
• Standardization and further development of existing IT solutions and processes

Depending on your experience, you can take on additional responsibility within the team and represent the team leader.

We are looking for an experienced system engineer who would like to continue to work hands-on technically and at the same time enjoy taking on responsibility.
