Senior system developer Java, Stockholm

Role Summary

As a senior Java developer, you will be part of our agile team deliveries and work closely with both customers and colleagues in long-term assignments. The role combines development with technical responsibility where you are involved throughout the entire development process, from design and implementation to further development of existing solutions.

You work in a modern Java environment with Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Frontend takes place in React, Angular or Vue and we use Kubernetes, Git, Maven or Gradle as well as testing with JUnit and Mockito. This is what you will do

• Develop and further develop Java solutions in complex assignments
• Be involved in technical decisions, design and implementation
• Work closely with customer and team in agile deliveries
• Contribute to quality, safety and sustainable solutions
• Share knowledge and support colleagues in technical matters

We are looking for you who have

• At least 8 years of experience in Java development
• Experience in the consultant role
• Good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with modern web frameworks in JavaScript or TypeScript, preferably React or Angular
• Experience with unit and integration testing, for example JUnit or Mockito
• Familiarity with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience with cloud platforms
• Experience with container orchestration
• Experience from assignments in the public sector, telecoms or energy
