Role Summary

Develop software that effectively supports professionals in their everyday lives.

As a senior software developer .NET & SQL (m/f/d), you and your team will further develop the SaaS solution in the area of youth welfare and support facilities and youth welfare specialists in their daily work processes.

The position is 100% remote and can be carried out completely regardless of location in Germany.

• What you do
• Maintain and further develop the existing SaaS application with C#, Visual Basic .NET and ASP.NET Web Forms
• Develop and optimize database-based functions using SQL and T SQL
• Analyze complex technical requirements and implement them independently
• Support development and deployment processes with GitHub
• Ensure code quality through pull requests, code reviews and automated tests
• Further develop the test strategy and expand test automation
• Supports the team through knowledge transfer, joint solution development and the teaching of proven development and testing practices
• What you bring with you
• Several years of professional experience in software development
• Very good knowledge of C# and Visual Basic .NET
• In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms, SQL and T SQL
• Experience in maintaining and further developing historically grown applications
• Experience with the operation and further development of SaaS applications
• Confident handling of GitHub, pull requests and code reviews
• Experience with automated testing as well as unit, integration and regression testing
• Independent and analytical way of working as well as enjoyment of imparting knowledge and providing professional support to colleagues
• A plus, but not a must
• Knowledge of deployment processes with Octopus Deploy
