Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Scala Developer to join a team of highly skilled professionals working on a new product development for one of the globally recognized financial institutions.
This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wroclaw or Krakow.

Responsibilities - Design and implement user-friendly applications, which integrate seamlessly into our application landscape
- Improve current and develop new features for several trading application GUIs
- Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into technical designs
- Work closely with other senior software engineers, PMs, BAs, and business users (clients) to find the best possible technical solution for the project/available requirements
- Support the production users and investigate issues in production when contacted by the support team
Requirements - Familiarity with our technology stack: Scala, Functional Programming, Akka Streams, Akka HTTP, ScalaTest, Mockito, Kafka, Liquibase, Slick, PostgreSQL, Gradle, Gatling, TeamCity, Git
- Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Strong communication skills
- Proven record of successful delivery & ability to work to deadlines
- Working knowledge of the Securities Lending business area, and understanding of the various flows and complexities associated with it
