As the area of energy data management (EDM) continues to gain in importance, we are completely rebuilding our own EDM team. As a (Senior) SAP IS-U Consultant (m/f/d) Energy Data Management, you will be a reliable contact person for our customers in all EDM questions - and at the same time play a central role in the structural and technical development of the new team. If desired, also with prospects for a future team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Advice for our German and European customers in the energy sector on all questions relating to energy data management (EDM) in SAP IS‑U and SAP S/4HANA Utilities.
• You analyze, standardize and further develop EDM-relevant processes – from measured values to profiles to accounting.
• You support our customers in moving from SAP IS‑U to SAP S/4HANA Utilities and accompany them through all phases of the transformation.
• Participation in current topics in the energy industry, including regulatory innovations (MaBiS/GaBi).
• You create requirements concepts, design solutions, manage their implementation and organize workshops and training courses.
• You will be actively involved in building the new EDM team: building knowledge, defining structures, developing standards.
• As a member of our team, you are also part of the SAP Utilities Enablement Community, where you will develop new solutions for the energy industry together with us and other partners.
• You take responsibility for specialist topics and support your colleagues as a mentor.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed your studies or training in a commercial or technical environment.
• Through your work in the energy sector, you are familiar with the processes of energy suppliers.
• Over the last 3-4 years, you have already gained experience and specialist knowledge in the configuration, implementation and further development of SAP IS-U systems, with a focus on energy data management (EDM).
• Initial experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities is desirable.
• In addition, you ideally have the basics of IT project management as well as knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as ABAP or Java.
• You speak German at a high or native level as well as fluent English and can therefore interact confidently with our customers.
