Role Summary
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving regional sales performance to achieve assigned order budgets and market penetration goals. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. The position contributes directly to the company’s growth objectives by aligning regional strategies with overall business goals and ensuring operational excellence in sales execution.
Responsibilities
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Strong leadership skills to manage, mentor, and grow a regional sales team.Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and achieving revenue targets.
- Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and other departments.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
Requirements for Consideration
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 8–10 years of related experience, preferably in technology, capital equipment, or instrument sales, including 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing regional teams.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
