Senior Project Manager Defence (m/w/d)

Role Summary

• As an experienced defense project manager (m/f/d), you will manage and support exciting projects from planning to successful implementation
• Your tasks include supporting complex IT transformation and digitalization projects
• You are also responsible for coordinating various stakeholders
• You are also responsible for managing work packages and project teams
• You are also responsible for managing risks and dependencies and ensuring timely and quality-oriented project implementation

In addition, in your role you will support the further development of processes, organizational structures and collaboration models as well as the establishment of modern and agile working methods

Consulting means flexibility: Your project deployment depends on our customers and your project situation and includes both hybrid working and on-site deployment

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics, business administration or (business) computer science
• You also have several years of experience in managing complex IT and transformation projects and have in-depth knowledge of classic and agile project management methods (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum, Kanban).
• In order to successfully carry out the tasks, a sound understanding of the defense, security or Bundeswehr environment is absolutely necessary
• You are also familiar with the organizational structures, responsibilities, decision-making processes, processes and the military rank and rank systems
• Your knowledge of stakeholder, risk and requirements management is convincing and you are confident in working with interdisciplinary teams as well as in communication and reporting at management level
• In addition, you have strong organizational and conceptual skills and experience in the independent management of work packages as well as in the analysis, optimization and support of processes and change projects
• In your profile we will also find experience in IT service management according to ITIL as well as in-depth knowledge of modern groupware and collaboration platforms in the areas of email, document management and digital collaboration
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1 level) round off your profile
