To be successful in this position, you should have a degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, railway transportation, or a comparable field of study and have extensive professional experience in the area of project management of infrastructure projects.

We support the challenges of the transport transition through our commitment to more than 3,200 experts in the field of transport and rail transport worldwide. The Ramboll team in Germany will be further expanded and expanded over the next few years in order to bring in the diverse experiences from regional, national and international projects (example: Fehmarnbelt underpass between Denmark and Germany - the world's longest tunnel for rail and car traffic).

Responsibilities

  • Project management of demanding rail transport projects (new construction/conversion and expansion) for service phases 1-7 of the HOAI
  • Responsibility for technical and economic success in terms of costs, deadlines and quality as well as compliance with the specified laws, regulations, standards and regulations
  • Technical management of a project team or consortium and direct coordination with the end customer
  • Contact person for the customer, participation in customer appointments and technical questions
  • Presentation of the project results within the project and to the public
  • Interface management (including coordination of various project participants in several construction phases)
  • Quality assurance, ensuring documentation of planning progress and planning results
  • Ensuring the provision of services by internal and external parties (including technical testing)
  • Participation in the preparation of offers and acquisition of new projects
  • About you
  • To get started with us, you should have the following requirements:

Successfully completed studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering, railway transport or comparable courses.

  • Extensive professional experience as a project manager for rail transport systems (railway infrastructure)
  • In-depth knowledge of fee and legal issues (BGB, HOAI, VOB, VV Bau and VV Bau STE) and the relevant standards, regulations and guidelines
  • Confident use of relevant software in the area of project management (e.g. MS Office, MS Project, AutoCad, iTWO, Jira, Last Planner, Lean methodology)
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Interest in complex tasks and networking
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written knowledge of German and English)
  • Flexibility, initiative and assertiveness
  • Enjoy working in a structured way
