Role Summary
As a new member of our fulfillment team, you will drive the development process of software solutions for ticket creation and shipping with us. The fulfillment team is one of the three self-organized domain teams at ticket i/O IT that work on online ticketing for events. It currently consists of 4 people, including a Tech Lead and a Product Owner.
In total, you can look forward to 30 teammates in IT and the product team. You will drive forward new features and the further development of our online ticketing software in sprints with us. TypeScript (nodeJS) is our programming language of choice, as a framework we rely on the advantages of nestJS in the backend and ReactJS in the frontend. We build and host our application on AWS, creating a scalable infrastructure based on micro-services. Are you at the start?
Who we are? We see ourselves as an innovative company in the ticketing and events industry. We process many years of experience from the event, leisure, sports and trade fair sectors with the best technology into an intuitive software solution. Since 2014, around 90 employees have been committed to ensuring everything runs smoothly before, during and after an event.
Responsibilities
- Support your team in the constant development and new implementation of the creation and validation of event tickets as well as their shipping
- Design and develop new features: from analyzing the requirements to implementing the individual development steps
- Weigh up visionary ideas and optimal software architecture in a solution-oriented, pragmatic and economical manner
- Take over the process monitoring and pay particular attention to scalability
- A little bit of operation (DevOps), in collaboration with our two administrators
We work according to the motto “you built it, you run it”, with the support of our CoreTeam as a framework, we rely on the advantages of nestJS in the backend and React in the frontend
Requirements
- You like working in agile teams and work in a self-organized and responsible manner
- You have experience with distributed systems
- You know your way around: from the front end to the back end to the infrastructure to the database
- You have several years of (professional) experience with Node.js and are confident with JavaScript (ideally with TypeScript)
- You have an eye for clean architectures and interfaces
- You perfect your work with the help of UnitTests & Co. and use GIT to stay in sync with your team
- You are curious and are not afraid to learn new programming languages, technologies and methods
- You speak fluent English and good German (at least B2)
- Experience with DDD (Domain Driven Designs) or AWS knowledge is a plus
