Role Summary
Senior consultant in environmental testing for industrial changeover
Luleå, Sweden
Do you want to have a key role in complex permit processes - and at the same time contribute to the industry's green transition in northern Sweden and nationally?
We are looking for someone who has experience in environmental testing and permit-related issues for industry, mines and other environmentally hazardous activities and who wants to take on a more strategic role in assignments.
As part of Impact Assessment & Biodiversity Ecosystems in Sweden, you work in a team with colleagues, share knowledge, support each other in the assignments and place great emphasis on quality, business sense and sustainable impact - from early strategic path choices to final testing.
Your new position
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include
- Lead and quality-assure environmental assessments and EIAs in trial projects for environmentally hazardous activities.
- Drive dialogue with customers, authorities and other stakeholders - with a focus on solutions, timetable and trust.
- Contribute with specialist expertise, supervise and share knowledge with colleagues – and have access to support from senior experts yourself.
- Develop the role with us - responsibilities and direction are adapted to your experience.
Requirements
We believe that you
- Has a relevant degree and several years of experience in environmental assessment, permit processes and work with EIA, as a consultant or within the authority area
- Has good business understanding and has the ability to create trust and long-term customer relationships
Communicates freely in Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you have experience with technologies such as CCS/CCU, hydrogen, electrification or the like.
