With over 70,000 members, 1. FC Union Berlin is one of the largest football clubs in Germany. The men's and women's professional teams play in the 1st Bundesliga, and the stadium at the Alte Försterei is expected to hold more than 34,000 spectators in the future.
Your job in marketing
Marketing is responsible for the distribution and implementation of the club's hospitality and advertising rights as well as for the acquisition of third-party events at the An der Alten Försterei stadium. Your core task includes the creative and professional creation of all content required for marketing. You support sales in attracting new partners and further developing existing partnerships through convincing sales documents, strong storylines and high-quality presentation materials.
Responsibilities
- Creation of individual presentations, decision-making principles and management summaries for the acquisition of new and extension of existing partnerships
- Development of convincing storylines, arguments and marketing concepts based on the needs of the respective partners
- Continuous development and quality assurance of all sales-relevant presentation documents
- Ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual and content-related appearance across all marketing-relevant communication media (including homepage, newsletter, B2B app)
- Identification and integration of new presentation and communication formats
- Close cooperation with other departments in the club, especially the communications and marketing departments, as well as management of external service providers
Requirements
- Completed studies in the field of marketing, communication, media, design, sports management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the areas of brand consulting, creation, design, sports marketing or agency business
- Proven experience in designing and creating high-quality presentations, pitches and sales-supporting communication materials
- High creativity and a good understanding of brands, partnerships and commercial marketing approaches in sport
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package and image editing as well as interest in AI applications
- High level of initiative and an independent, structured and careful way of working
- Passionate about football, sports and the world of sponsorship
