We are looking for you who want to be part of designing and implementing robust security solutions at some of the largest organizations. As a Security Architect, you get a key role in digitization projects where security is not something that is added afterwards - but is built in from the start.

In the role of Security Architect, you work with designing and implementing security solutions in complex IT environments, both in the public and private sectors.

As a Security Architect, you have a central role in designing and implementing security solutions in modern and complex IT environments. You work closely with customers, technical teams and decision makers to ensure that security is an integral part of the business's digital development.

Responsibilities

Your duties include, among other things, to

Design security architecture that supports business needs and risk landscape, focusing on modern principles such as Zero Trust and micro-segmentation.

Specify and implement solutions in technologies such as

• Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure internet and application access
• Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiManager) for firewalls, segmentation and threat protection
• VMware NSX for micro-segmentation and virtualized network security
• Microsoft Defender or SentinelOne for advanced endpoint protection and threat detection
• Security in cloud environments (Azure & AWS) using built-in security services such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and AWS Security Hub
• Advice on technology choices and security measures in hybrid infrastructures, based on the customer's maturity, risk profile and business needs.
• Work closely with operations, development and management to ensure proper implementation, governance and ownership of security solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and work with regulatory compliance (eg NIS2, ISO 27001 and GDPR).
• Contribute to developing safety culture and best practice in projects and teams and be an active part of Sopra Steria's safety community.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have

• At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture and security design
• Practical experience with networks, infrastructure and security solutions
• Experience with Zero Trust, micro-segmentation and platform security
• Competence in cloud technology (Azure & AWS) and associated security functions
• Good communication skills - you can anchor security both technically and strategically
• Relevant training and preferably certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, CCIE Security or equivalent
