Sampler: Nurse or Technician M/F

Role Summary

We are looking for a sampler to join the team at our Pont Croix laboratory on a fixed-term contract.

You carry out the sampling activities under the responsibility of the site biologist.

Conditions of employment

Full time: 35 hours per week on average.

Work Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning in shifts.

Laboratory seniority taken over at 100%.

Position to be filled as soon as possible.

Profile sought

You are an IDE and enjoy patient relations in the context of blood samples.

Your patience and team spirit make you a work colleague who can be counted on. You have a taste for sampling activities and the ability to carry them out at a sustained pace.

You have a current vaccination certificate (including Hepatitis B).

Responsibilities

• Check the hygiene of the rooms before and after carrying out the sampling procedures
• Welcome, identify and seat patients and take note of their requests
• Take samples in accordance with procedures and instructions
• Be able to sample all types of patients (ideally children, babies)
• Identify the samples, complete the monitoring sheets useful for interpreting the results
• Inform patients about results delivery times
• Manage samples, prepare their transfer to the technical platform and ensure the identification of emergencies
• Participate in the secretariat and pre-post analytical activities
