Are you ready for your next real security challenge? Are you passionate about helping organizations stop breaches using a platform that just works? If so, CrowdStrike is seeking a Sales Engineer with significant security expertise. You should be able to articulate how current security solutions are designed and deployed, and why they are failing. You will be part of a team responsible for changing what the security market and customers believe is possible with a next-generation endpoint technology. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements.

What You'll Do: - Work closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.

  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Prepare technical proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback and input into the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and solutions and stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the security industry.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop technical marketing materials, such as whitepapers and solution briefs, that support our sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts.

What You'll Need: - Experienced in endpoint or network security space - AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.

  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Can easily articulate complex security problems to a set of audiences
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Can work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives
  • Extensive contacts in the information security field and strong references
  • Strong understanding of MEDDIC based sales process and how to effectively communicate technical solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

  • Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel as required

Nice To Have: - Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis

  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash
  • Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies
  • Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Understanding of the OSI model
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS

CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge / Career Skills Program (CSP) Internship is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29 as enacted by 10 U.S.C. Sec 1143. Eligibility is restricted to members of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably with greater than 180 days of continuous Active Duty. SkillBridge/CSP period of eligibility is within the final 180 days of Active Duty service, and the SkillBridge/CSP must be completed prior to separation from Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.

CrowdStrike's DoD SkillBridge/CSP Internship is open to members of all services, and all ranks and experience levels. Service members should fully review SkillBridge/CSP Job Description for requirements and qualifications of the individual position.

SkillBridge participants participate in full time training with industry (40-hour work week) under permissive temporary duty military orders and are not eligible for compensation from CrowdStrike during SkillBridge participation, but will continue to receive all military wages and benefits as defined by the Department of Defense.
