Role Summary

Contributes to investigations related to non-conforming products or materials. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities and projects.

Audits the manufacturing process to ensure that it conforms to the intended product design and complies with established process controls.

Requirements

QC inspector

  • More than 2 years of manufacturing experience. Certifications in assembly and/or testing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education completed.
  • Intermediate English level (reading and writing).
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of quality tools and continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience as a quality control (QC) inspector and in the manufacturing industry (Desirable)
  • With technical or university studies in quality or related areas (Desirable)

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods (minimum 2 hours).
  • Must be able to move around all areas of the office, workshop, warehouse or manufacturing plant.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (approximately 23 kg) and carry up to 25 pounds (approximately 11 kg).
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grasp objects while working at assigned station.
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination necessary to operate office equipment.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and reassign responsibilities to complete duties.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must respond appropriately to visual and auditory cues.
  • You must perform all work safely and meet all safety requirements aligned with company objectives.
  • Manual lifting tasks must follow the guidelines established in the Safety Manual.
  • Must comply with all environmental regulations to support the company's environmental performance objectives.
  • Must complete and actively participate in all required Environmental, Safety and Health (EHS) training programs.
