Quality Engineer – Construction Supervision | Santarém

Role Summary

As part of strengthening our team, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to join a project in the Santarém area, with an expected duration of 3 years, with the possibility of extending up to 5 years.

Training and experience

Higher education in Engineering;

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quality Manager;

Training in the ISO 9001 standard (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Assume management of the Quality area in the inspection team;
• Ensure quality control in the work, ensuring compliance of processes, materials and execution;
• Implement and manage the quality management system on site (procedures, records and indicators);

Prepare technical documentation, namely

• control plans;
• non-conformity reports;
• corrective and preventive actions;
• Provide technical support to teams in interpreting and applying quality requirements;
• Participate in internal and external audits, contributing to continuous improvement;
• Promote a quality culture among operational teams;

Participate in meetings with different stakeholders.

Requirements

Technical skills

• Solid knowledge of technical standards and sector regulations;
• Knowledge of good quality management practices in the construction sector;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel);
• Knowledge of construction management software (MS Project, AutoCAD);

Proficiency in English.
