Role Summary
Description of the opportunity
The Continuous Improvement team is responsible for developing projects that add value to internal processes. Develops projects on topics as diverse as automation, robotization, digital innovation, dashboards, improving process efficiency through Lean methodology, among others.
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will contribute to building and maintaining the culture of Operational Excellence at Eurofins. In managing and carrying out projects in the areas of Lean Manufacturing, Optimization and Automation, your role will be crucial in increasing the competitiveness of our laboratories.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer ensures the development of projects taking into account your needs, suggesting the methods and tools necessary for their start-up and continuity. Works closely with the project Sponsor, preparing the project charter, defining milestones and monitoring metrics.
He is an agent of change and continuous improvement, seeking to develop internal processes, either through projects or through the identification of new areas/actions that contribute to growth. Puts into practice and updates risk management and resource management associated with projects.
As part of the Continuous Improvement Department, the Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a fundamental role in improving efficiency, productivity and reducing costs in laboratories. In this way, you will perform the following functions:
- Development and execution of continuous improvement projects in the areas of lean, automation and optimization;
- Implementation of projects with work teams and their long-term monitoring;
- Identification of new areas for improvement to optimize processes;
Direct contribution to building the company's culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements
We are looking for a dynamic person, capable of contributing to the internal strategy and leading its execution, with proactivity, strong motivation to anticipate the needs of internal customers and to execute excellent projects.
- To join this opportunity, we are looking for the following profile:
- Academic training in the field of Engineering;
- Consolidated experience in Lean with mastery of methodologies and tools;
- 2 years of professional experience in similar functions;
- Extensive knowledge of computer tools: Microsoft Office, Power BI, SolidWorks, Python (preferred, not mandatory);
- Fluency in English;
- Autonomy in project execution;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Critical sense, creativity, problem solving, initiative and proactivity.
