Role Summary

We are looking for a Project Safety Manager (PSM) to be responsible for the functional safety development and management of ADAS (L2, L2+), smart cockpit and hardware platform safety projects. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary security interface for project technology alignment, customer review, and vendor security management, while ensuring the quality and execution of security work packages throughout the development lifecycle. Candidates with system-level security capabilities will be given priority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical alignment work in the bidding phase of the project, and serve as the main security interface with customers during the bidding and requirement definition phases.
  • Manage the security process throughout the project life cycle, including responding to customer audits and supporting security assessments (such as ISO 26262).
  • Responsible for supplier security management, including coordinating the Development Interface Agreement (DIA) and reviewing supplier security deliverables.
  • Break down security work packages into executable tasks, define milestones, and monitor the implementation status of system, software, and hardware teams.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of safety deliverables (such as safety plans, hazard analysis and risk assessments, safety concepts, FMEA, FMEDA, SOTIF concepts, SOTIF verification and validation strategies) and provide release recommendations for safety cases.
  • Support security-related verification, lead regional SOTIF verification requirements, track implementation, performance iteration and regression testing.
  • Promote the security development of high-priority customer projects involving intelligent driving (L2, L2+), intelligent cockpit domain controllers and hardware security platforms.
  • Continuously strengthen safety culture and safety engineering knowledge to ensure that the team keeps up with the latest industry standards.

Requirements

  • Has more than 4 years of experience in automotive electronic and electrical (E/E) system development, focusing on ADAS, smart cockpit or domain controller projects.
  • Have experience in project management and functional safety management, and have strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with customer-facing security topics, including leading technical discussions, response audits, and supplier coordination.
  • Proficient in FuSa/ISO 26262 and SOTIF/ISO 21448 standards, and familiar with the risk assessment process.
  • Have experience in cross-functional team (system, software, hardware, testing) security requirements decomposition and work package delivery management.
  • Applicants who are familiar with the system safety architecture of ADAS and smart cockpit platforms will be given priority.
  • Proficient in English and able to read, interpret and write English technical documents and specifications.
