Project Manager - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to become part of Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech supplies some of the Nordic region's most reliable banking systems with secure, stable and scalable solutions. Using automation, data, AI and cloud technology, combined with hands-on guidance, we help banks modernize their core systems, strengthen trust and create greater value throughout the entire banking experience.

Within the payment area, we are now looking for a customer-focused project manager who will help ensure good deliveries and further develop the collaboration with our customers. We develop and manage payment solutions for over 100 Norwegian banks. This means that our solutions are part of the everyday lives of millions of people - whether they are tipping, paying an eInvoice or making sure that the salary enters their account at the right time.

In this role, you will be an important link between our customers and the professional communities in Tieto Banktech. You will follow projects and deliveries from needs and planning to implementation and completion, and ensure good communication, clear expectations and progress along the way.

You don't have to be the one who knows the most about technology. The most important thing is that you are curious enough to understand the customer's needs and the solutions we deliver, and that you are able to get people with different skills to work well together towards a common goal. You are keen to explore and use AI to create more efficient work processes and better results.

The role of Project Manager at Tieto Banktech

Build strong and trusting relationships with customers, act as their primary point of contact and ensure clear, proactive and professional communication.

Understand the customers' needs and translate them into clear goals, plans, priorities, timelines, areas of responsibility and activities.

Plan, coordinate and lead projects and customer deliveries from start to finish, ensure progress and manage dependencies, risks and changes.

Coordinating the collaboration between customers and our specialist teams within product management, analysis, architecture, development and quality assurance to achieve common goals.

Identify challenges early, contribute to effective solutions and drive continuous improvements in how we deliver projects and collaborate with our customers.

Who we're looking for

Has experience from project management, delivery management or similar roles.

Is genuinely concerned with customers and creating outstanding customer experiences.

Is structured and able to maintain an overview of several activities and stakeholders at the same time.

Communicates clearly and builds trust, both with customers and internally.

Enjoy working with people from different professional backgrounds.

Is solution-oriented and comfortable with changes and complex challenges.

Has a good understanding of business and an interest in technology.

To be successful in the role, it is important that you are fluent in both Norwegian and English, with good oral and written communication skills.
