Role Summary

Your location could be one of our offices in Germany such as Kassel, Mannheim, Berlin, Hamburg or Erlangen.

We invite you to become part of the Ramboll team in the Power Systems area and to actively support us as Project Manager High Voltage Distribution (m/f/d).

To be successful in this position, you should already have experience as a project manager for the routing of high-voltage lines 110/220/380 kV. This includes, among other things, the specific mast distribution, cable mechanical calculations, access planning and the transfer to the respective plan. You are also no stranger to the technical support of spatial planning procedures or federal planning, plan approval procedures including rough and fine routing.

As our new Project Manager High Voltage Distribution (m/f/d) you will work in a newly established Power Systems team that works on its own projects as well as supporting our colleagues in the entire energy sector with technical expertise.

Requirements

Your main tasks will be the following

• Project management in the planning and routing of high and extra-high voltage lines (overhead lines and cable routes)
• Preparation of routing and approval documents as well as quality control of the planning documents including coordination with involved partners and authorities
• Support in the preparation of technical offers.
• You respond to tenders and support business development for customers in the areas of routing and pipeline planning.
• You have close customer contact and conduct continuous customer communication regarding work results to our customers, both verbally and in writing.

About you

At Ramboll, we support you in your personal and professional development right from the start. To get started with us, you should have the following requirements:

• You have successfully completed a degree in surveying, geography or geoinformatics or geophysics, civil engineering or a comparable field.
• You have several years of professional experience in the area of planning route projects (preferably overhead lines 110 kV, 220 kV and 380 kV).
• Technical knowledge of overhead line construction and the relevant regulations, laws and technical standards relating to routing,
• Good general IT knowledge and experience with FM profile, SEIL++ or FIMS3, MicroStation, AutoCAD, QGIS.
• It is important to you to deal with our customers and partners in a solution-oriented and confident manner.
• You are a team player, flexible and have organizational talent.
• You complete your tasks independently and have a structured way of working
• You have a passion for sustainability and a high interest in renewable energies and their wide variety of technologies.
• You have fluent German skills and also communicate excellently in English.
