Role Summary
The Barcelona plant is specialized in ETO (Engineering to Order) solutions within the Secure Power division, with a focus on prefabricated data centers and power modules. It offers complete solutions based entirely on Schneider Electric components, covering the entire project life cycle, from the offer and design phase, to commissioning at the customer's facilities and subsequent maintenance.
Description
In a context of strong business growth and expansion of facilities, we are looking to incorporate a profile that is responsible for leading a team of 7 people. This position will be responsible for managing the methods area and continuous improvement of the plant, as well as production planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the methods, continuous improvement and plant planning team (7 people), ensuring their alignment with the plant objectives
- Define, implement and optimize production processes, guaranteeing efficiency, quality and safety
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen), identifying optimization opportunities and leading their implementation
- Supervise and develop the productive planning area, ensuring a master plan aligned with demand, capacity and available resources.
- Analyze key plant KPIs (productivity, OEE, lead time, costs, etc.) and define action plans for improvement
- Manage the standardization of processes, work instructions and technical documentation
- Ensure the availability and optimization of tools, layouts and productive means
- Lead industrialization and productive scaling projects in the context of plant growth and expansion
- Evaluate the return on investments (ROI), guaranteeing the economic viability and operational impact of the projects
Requirements
- Degree or Master in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar + 5 years of previous experience in the functions described managing teams as a manager
- Demonstrated experience in process audits (VDA, IATF, AS9100, ISO9001 or similar)
- Solid knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, process mapping and root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.).
- Experience with digital manufacturing tools (MES, PLM, ERP)
- Improvement and analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, statistics, etc.) Technical training in the field of electrical installations and industrial automation
- Level C1 (advanced) of English in a work environment, ability to hold technical discussions
- Availability to travel punctually to visit suppliers or provide support in installations and start-ups (estimated 1 week quarter)
